A VERY Proud Dad...

In a total plot twist, today's blog isn't about the classic "father of the bride" or "father of the groom" role. Nope, it's about yours truly stepping into the limelight!

So, my persistent and eager beaver of a daughter, Alice, has been on a mission. She's been nagging me forever about tagging along to a wedding as my second photographer. After a million requests, I finally surrendered a couple of weeks ago and gave her the green light to dive into her first-ever gig as a wedding photographer.

Now, you know I treat weddings like they're the crown jewels of events. They're those big, unforgettable moments in people's lives. So, I couldn't just let Alice wing it. I laid down some ground rules to make sure she knew the ABCs of being professional, handling a camera, and not tripping over anyone's train.

Leading up to the big day, Alice and I had our bonding time. I unleashed the camera mysteries, spilt the beans on the day's agenda, and spelt out the must-get shots. And of course, we had to deck her out in her very own "Jonathan David Photography" tee to complete the look.

My initial jitters went out the window. Alice was like a pro all day long. I couldn't have been prouder when the wedding registrar came up to me, shook my hand, and told me how impressed he was with how she conducted herself, and how proud I should be as her Dad for her putting herself out there and joining me at a wedding.

Believe it or not, Alice didn't photobomb a single shot, she soaked up my advice like a sponge, and even though she made no secret about how nervous she was, she brought her A-game. They'll definitely be some of her photos in the final wedding album.

That's it for this week!

Peace. Love and Photos.
