Right off the bat, I need to apologize.... Sorry.
I can't believe we're in March, and I'm sitting here writing my first blog of the year! The truth of the matter is,, not only have I been very busy laying the foundations for a very exciting year, I've needed a little bit of a break, and a good chunk of time to recharge the batteries. Whilst I know lots of you go out of your way to read my blogs on a weekly basis, I'm very much still here and have no intention of going anywhere! đ
The truth is though, year after year we get busier and busier, so whilst the blogs won't be going away (Fear not!!) they may just be a little more sporadic over this year.
So, what have you been up to?
Honestly, a hell of a lot!
Whilst the beginning of the year isn't necessarily the busiest time of the year for weddings, there's still been a steady stream of couples in the diary over the course of the last couple of months to keep me busy, along with the onslaught of newly engaged lovebirds getting in touch to book me for their upcoming weddings over the coming years!
As with any wedding supplier though, the first few months of the year are all about Wedding Fayres, so as well as exhibiting at a handful of fayres across the region, I was also invited along to the National Wedding Fayre, at the CBS Arena in Coventry to meet with Tyler and Connor who as last years Win Your Wedding winners were given the honor of announcing the lucky 2024 couple live on stage with the rest of the fantastic suppliers involved.
Spot yourstruly...
I was fortunate enough to be part of last year's Win Your Wedding, and I'm buzzing to be working with the utterly fantastic Lucas and Maria who are this year's lucky winners.
Speaking of the National Wedding Fayre though...
After years of missing out, I'm absolutely thrilled to announce Jonathan David Photography will be officially heading along to exhibit at the National Wedding Fayre 2025 for the first time ever! Places are always in such massive demand and get booked up incredibly quickly. As such, only the creme de la creme of wedding suppliers are lucky enough to be selected, so it's an opportunity I'm incredibly excited about! Even now, I've been hard at work planning for what's set to be an awesome weekend.
The exciting news doesn't stop there though, as for a second year running, I've been nominated for Wedding Photographer of the Year 2024 with the Prestige Awards. I'm always incredibly humbled when I get nominated for these things, as nominations are done anonymously and a couple has to physically go out of their way to put me forward, so I'm incredibly grateful. I never have any expectations, but it would be amazing to win the accolade for the second year in a row! Fingers crossed!
You've not got rid of me just yet! đ
Peace. Love and Photos.
