A Quick Easter Check-In (And What We’ve Been Up To Behind The Scenes)

Feels like one of those weeks where you blink and suddenly it’s Easter.
I don’t know about you, but this time of year always seems to creep up out of nowhere, one minute it’s freezing and you’re questioning all your life choices, and the next everyone’s talking about chocolate and long weekends like we’ve not just come out of winter.
Behind the scenes it’s been pretty full on here, lots of enquiries coming in, consultations, planning chats, and a good chunk of time spent getting everything lined up for the weddings coming up over the next few months. It’s that point in the year where things start to feel very real for a lot of couples, timelines are coming together, details are being finalised, and you can feel the excitement building a bit more with every conversation.
I’ve also been quietly working away on a few things in the background that I’m looking forward to sharing properly soon, bits that are all about making the experience smoother, more relaxed, and just generally better for the couples I’m working with. Nothing flashy, just things that make a genuine difference on the day, which is always the priority.
Easter itself is usually a bit of a reset, a chance to slow things down slightly, catch your breath, and maybe eat more chocolate than you planned to, which I’m fully on board with. It’s also a good reminder that wedding season is right around the corner, and before long we’ll be straight back into those full days, big moments, and everything in between that makes this job what it is.
If you’re in the middle of planning your wedding right now, hopefully things are starting to feel a bit more exciting than stressful, and if you’re still figuring things out, just know that it all comes together quicker than you think.
For now though, I’ll keep this one short and sweet, enjoy the long weekend, eat the chocolate, and if you’ve got a wedding coming up this year, we’re getting close now.
And if you’re still looking for someone to capture it all without it feeling like a big staged production, you know where I am 👍 In the meantime,
Have a very happy Easter! Jono
