Let's start off with a thousand apologies, last weeks blog didn't post for some reason, but fear not, I'm back this week with another run down from another fantastic wedding.
So it's the turn of the lovely Lance and Angela who tied the knot at The Boathouse, just outside of Great Yarmouth. The boathouse is a stunning venue that as you would expect looks out over a vast lake. It's a lovely modern venue packed with charm, fantastic views and a genuinely lovely place to get married.
As most wedding days go, our time with Lance and Angela started out with a little bit of bridal prep ahead of lances arrival. Little did we know when we got there, that Angela and her bridal party were well ahead of schedule and already ready. No drama whatsoever though, as we popped together a few staged photos to make it look like we'd been there much earlier.
As Angela's son was giving her away, as soon as he arrived, we did a quick first look shot, before heading down to capture the little details and the various little touches that the Angela's eldest daughter had been hard at work on right up until the night before dotted around the venue.
It's very rare I see a couple include the colour black in their colour scheme for a wedding, but mixed with the gold they'd also included, it was a nice mix and believe it or not looked extremely classy, and well put together! The couple had also arranged different centre pieces for each table which again, looked amazing! They'd even opted for 2 goldfish on the top table which was a nod to Lances love of fishing.
Onto the ceremony itself though, which was a joy to capture. Angela arrived by a horse drawn carriage, and the legality's were completed overlooking the lake through the massive glass windows in the ceremony room at the boathouse.
From then onwards it was a chance for the couple to have a quick drink before launching into group shots and a few shots of them both on their own away from prying eyes.
Lance and Angela were nothing short of a massive laugh throughout the whole day, and their photos will definitely reflect that! They were both full of personality and spent every opportunity they got in front of the camera in fits of giggles. From the shots on their own right through to even the cake cutting, there won't be a single serious photo which just sums them both up perfectly.
Whilst the happy and giggly couple joined their guests for food, as always we change cards, edit up a quick couple of sneak peeks and recharge the batteries ready to head into the speeches and the evening reception.
No sooner were the fantastic speeches from the various family members and best man completed, it was time for the first dance and cake cutting, which naturally when it comes to Lance and Angela were absolutely packed full of smiles and laughter.
We had such a blast capturing their day, and getting to be part of such a wonderful day is nothing short of a privilege that will never get old!
Peace. Love and Photos.
