Ok, firstly, I want to apologise, as we know there wasn't a blog last week! Truth is, we've been absolutely mental busy at the moment with lots of work going on in the background and behind the scenes to grow the business a little further and to kick things up a notch!
So, despite all the negative news all over my timeline at the minute, I thought it would be nice to use today's blog as a little bit of a roundup and to let you all know what we've been up to.
Some of our biggest news will be the addition of videography to our services. My original plan was to learn how to do it myself, but as I've only got one pair of hands and because I want any service I offer to be as professional as possible, it made sense to grow the team a little more and take on a new team member who already knows what he's doing. We're buzzing to be able to welcome the incredibly talented Dan to the team, and we're already setting about filling up his diary to keep him nice and busy.
Dan certainly knows his stuff.! His style is very much in-line with my own, so he's going to be a perfect addition to the team, we can't wait for the bookings we've got coming up together, as we know our couples are going to absolutely love his work!

So what else have we been up to?
Well, we took a day trip over to the Isle of white last week to help the team at Motorfilm with a project they've got coming up... Which was eventful, to say the least. I'm sure I don't need to remind you of how bad the weather was from Thursday onwards, but crossing even the small distance from Southampton over to the Isle of white was incredibly rough, and in hindsight, wasn't the most intelligent decision we've ever made. Nevertheless, despite missing our return ferry, we made it home (Albeit, 4/5 hours later than we should have been!) safely in one piece!
Bookings have been soaring through the roof at the moment too, so my 2022 is shaping up to be jam-packed full of weddings, which honestly, I can't wait for! We've got some amazing weddings coming up, at some fantastic locations, not just in the midlands, but the whole of the UK wide, so safe to say there's plenty to be excited about!
Oh, I also booked a holiday!
Not just any holiday, one that's been sat on my bucket list for quite a while now! Next year, myself and Rach will be heading back down to Southampton to go on a 14-night cruise on the Arvia cruise ship around the western Mediterranean, and you can bet your life I'll be taking the camera!! 😉
